BB Glow is an advanced treatment that uses microneedling technology to infuse a nutrient-rich, pigmented serum into the upper layers of the skin, acting like a semi-permanent foundation. The result is an instant “glass skin” glow — an even, luminous complexion you wake up with, without the need for heavy makeup.
The pigmented serum neutralises free radicals, evens out skin tone and minimises the appearance of pores, making it ideal for anyone dealing with redness, uneven tone, hyperpigmentation or enlarged pores. A course of three treatments is highly recommended for maximum results, as the effect builds and deepens with each session.
We offer four levels of BB Glow at Milliner & Joseph — from the classic treatment through to our premium multi-stage facial combining dermaplaning, enzyme peel and LED light therapy. Every session is performed by Tashia, a qualified aesthetics practitioner with Salon Gold insurance, at our Forest Hill studio.

BB Glow uses microneedling technology to infuse a nutrient-rich, pigmented serum into the upper layers of the skin. It acts like a semi-permanent foundation — evening out skin tone, minimising pores and giving an instant “glass skin” glow.
A course of three is highly recommended for maximum results. The pigment builds with each session, so while you’ll see a glow immediately, the full even-toned effect develops across the course.
Classic BB Glow suits redness, uneven tone and large pores. Add dermaplaning if your skin is dull or rough and you want an airbrushed finish. Choose the Gold Ampoule for mature skin and loss of elasticity, or our premium LED and Enzyme Peel facial for congested skin, fine lines and stubborn pigmentation.
Yes — the serum is selected and blended to suit your natural skin tone at consultation, so the result looks like your own skin at its best rather than a layer of makeup.
Minimal. You may notice slight redness for a few hours, but most clients leave glowing and return to their normal routine straight away. Avoid makeup and heat treatments for the first 24 hours.
BB Glow is suitable for most skin types and tones. It is not recommended during active breakouts, with open wounds or eczema in the treatment area, on blood-thinning medication, or in pregnancy. Tashia will screen for contraindications at consultation.

Book a consultation so Tashia can assess your skin, match your serum shade and confirm BB Glow is right for you.
Discontinue Actives
Avoid retinoids, acids and other harsh skincare products for a few days before your appointment.
Avoid Sun Exposure
Minimise sun exposure and use a high SPF in the days leading up to your treatment.
No Facial Waxing
Avoid waxing, threading or depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least one week beforehand.
Arrive Make-Up Free
Come with clean skin where possible, and tell Tashia about any medications, supplements or recent treatments.
Recovery & Results
After Your Treatment
No Makeup for 24 Hours
Avoid all makeup for at least 24 hours so the micro-channels can fully close and the pigment can settle.
Gentle Cleansing
Use only a mild, non-irritating cleanser and lukewarm water for the first few days.
No Washing for 12 Hours
Avoid washing the face for the first 12 hours so the serum can absorb fully into the skin.
Sun Protection
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily — sun exposure will fade your BB Glow results faster.
Avoid Heat & Sweat
No saunas, steam rooms, swimming or strenuous exercise for 48 hours after your treatment.
Skip Exfoliation
Avoid scrubs, acids, retinol and exfoliating treatments for at least one week — they will lift the pigment prematurely.
Complete Your Course
Attend all three sessions in your course, spaced as advised, for the fullest and longest-lasting result.
