BB Glow in Downham — FAQs
How long does BB Glow last?
A single session lasts a few weeks; after a course of three the result can last several months, gradually fading as your skin renews.
How far is the salon from Downham?
About 2.6 miles — about 15 minutes by car. We are on Devonshire Road in Forest Hill, SE23, a few minutes' walk from Forest Hill station, which has direct trains from Grove Park. Appointments are by booking only, so there is never a wait when you arrive.
Does BB Glow replace foundation?
For many people it replaces everyday foundation and evens the tone enough that they only use make-up for events. It is a soft, natural coverage rather than full coverage.
Do you do home visits in Downham?
Yes, for many of our treatments — spray tanning, massage, waxing, lashes, manicures and pedicures and more. Travel to Downham is £10. Treatments that need the salon environment, such as microneedling, peels and injections, are salon-only.
Does it work on darker skin tones?
Yes. The serums come in a range of shades and we match them to your skin at consultation.
Do you cover all of BR1, SE6?
Yes — every part of BR1, SE6, and the neighbouring areas of Grove Park, Bellingham, Bromley and Shortlands. For home visits the travel fee is the same across the whole area.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Your skin may be pink for a day. Avoid make-up, sweating and sun for 24 to 48 hours.
How do I book from Downham?
