Spray Tanning in Grove Park — FAQs
How should I prepare for a spray tan?
Exfoliate the day before, shave or wax at least 24 hours before, and come with clean, moisturiser-free skin. Wear loose, dark clothing afterwards.
How far is the salon from Grove Park?
About 3.3 miles — about 20 minutes by car. We are on Devonshire Road in Forest Hill, SE23, a few minutes' walk from Forest Hill station, which has direct trains from Grove Park. Appointments are by booking only, so there is never a wait when you arrive.
How long does a spray tan last?
Five to ten days depending on your skin and how you look after it. Moisturise daily and avoid long hot baths.
Do you do home visits in Grove Park?
Yes, for many of our treatments — spray tanning, massage, waxing, lashes, manicures and pedicures and more. Travel to Grove Park is £10. Treatments that need the salon environment, such as microneedling, peels and injections, are salon-only.
Which shade should I choose?
We match the shade to your skin tone and how deep you want to go. If you are unsure, we start lighter — you can always go darker next time.
Do you cover all of SE12?
Yes — every part of SE12, and the neighbouring areas of Downham, Lee, Hither Green and Bromley. For home visits the travel fee is the same across the whole area.
How long before I can shower?
It depends on the solution. Express tans develop in one to four hours; classic tans overnight. We tell you exactly when to rinse.
How do I book from Grove Park?
Book online at any time through our booking page, or call 07803 285619. Evening appointments are available most weekdays and we open on Sundays. Out-of-hours and festive-season bookings carry a small surcharge.
Do you do mobile spray tans?
Yes — it is one of our most popular services. We bring the tent and everything else to your home for a small travel fee.
Do I need a patch test?
For lash extensions, tints, peels, BB Glow and a few other treatments, yes — at least 24 hours before your first appointment. Patch tests are free at the salon, and we can post a kit to Grove Park if that is easier.
