Hair Extensions in Barnehurst — FAQs
What are nano ring extensions?
Strands of hair attached with tiny metal rings, with no heat, glue or chemicals. They are gentle on your own hair and almost invisible.
How far is the salon from Barnehurst?
About 9.3 miles — about 40 minutes by car. We are on Devonshire Road in Forest Hill, SE23, a few minutes' walk from Forest Hill station, which has direct trains from Barnehurst. Appointments are by booking only, so there is never a wait when you arrive.
How long do they last?
The hair lasts six to twelve months with care. The rings need moving up every six to eight weeks as your hair grows.
Do you do home visits in Barnehurst?
Yes, for many of our treatments — spray tanning, massage, waxing, lashes, manicures and pedicures and more. Travel to Barnehurst is £20. Treatments that need the salon environment, such as microneedling, peels and injections, are salon-only.
Will they damage my hair?
Not when fitted and maintained properly. Nano rings are one of the gentlest methods available.
Do you cover all of DA7?
Yes — every part of DA7, and the neighbouring areas of Northumberland Heath, Bexleyheath, Erith and Crayford. For home visits the travel fee is the same across the whole area.
Can you match my hair colour?
Yes. We colour-match at consultation and can blend shades for a natural result.
How do I book from Barnehurst?
Book online at any time through our booking page, or call 07803 285619. Evening appointments are available most weekdays and we open on Sundays. Out-of-hours and festive-season bookings carry a small surcharge.
How long does fitting take?
Two to four hours depending on how many strands you need.
Do I need a patch test?
For lash extensions, tints, peels, BB Glow and a few other treatments, yes — at least 24 hours before your first appointment. Patch tests are free at the salon, and we can post a kit to Barnehurst if that is easier.
