Is it safe for all skin types?

Yes. Collagen Lift Ultimate can be used for all skin types and skin tones. Your therapist will evaluate your suitability for the treatment during your consultation.

Does it hurt?

No, it is not painful. Microdermabrasion has been compared to the feeling of a gritty facial massage, and Collagen Lift is warm and relaxing like a hot stone massage.

How many treatments will I need and how often?

We recommend a course of six sessions completed either one a week for six weeks, or two a week for three weeks. After this we suggest a single session every 4–6 weeks to maintain the results, with top-up courses recommended every 2 years.

How quickly can I expect to see results?

The results are instant! The tightening of the elastin fibres occurs immediately.

How long will the results last?

You will benefit from increased collagen production up to 3 months after the course has been completed, and long-term results can last up to 2 years — serious competition for fillers and injectables.

Are there any side effects?

The skin may feel tight with mild redness after the treatment. Use a good moisturiser and drink plenty of water — the effects normally subside within 36 hours.

Preparation

Before Your Treatment

Consultation & Patch Test

Schedule a consultation to assess your skin condition, medical history and specific concerns — and book your free in-house patch test before your first session.

Avoid Sun Exposure

Prior to the treatment, avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds. Sunburned or overly sun-exposed skin can be more sensitive and may not respond well.

Notify the Aesthetician

Inform the practitioner about any allergies, skin conditions or sensitivities, as well as any medications or supplements you are currently taking.

Skincare Routine

Follow the skincare instructions provided by the aesthetician in the run-up to your appointment.

Hydration

Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water before the treatment — hydrated skin responds better to cosmetic treatments.

Arrive Make-Up Free

Arrive without makeup or heavy creams on your face, and remove any jewellery or accessories that may interfere with the treatment.

Recovery & Results

After Your Treatment

First 12 Hours

Do not wear heavy makeup.

First 24 Hours

No swimming or facial waxing.

First 48 Hours

No sauna, sun beds or sun exposure. No Botox, collagen injections or dermal fillers.

First 72 Hours

Do not use any anti-ageing creams, AHAs, glycolics, retinol or exfoliating products.

Throughout Your Course

SPF 15 minimum must be applied and exposure to UV should be avoided at all times during a course of Collagen Lift Ultimate.

Moisturise

Regular moisturiser applications are vital to replenish moisture and prevent the skin from becoming dry and peeling.

Be aware: if skin feels hot, splash with cold water, pat dry and moisturise regularly with a gentle, hydrating moisturiser. Skin may appear red after treatment, especially your first — this is perfectly normal and generally subsides within 72 hours. Any concerns, contact us on 07803 285619.

She came to my home (so no embarrassing travel home and I was able to out the children to bed first) and was so lovely!
